Just sayin....in a loop on the phone and can't get any help then I keep getting hung up on!!

Ugh that sinks! They are picketing outside my building and I just got majorly cat called as I walked into work by a group of about 30 men who are sitting in my parking lot with signs.

I honestly used to think of cat calling as an ego boost- but to be hoenst- when theres a large mob and you are alone it's a bit intimidating and embarrasing!
I RAN in the building super fast! And I don't think I will be leaving for lunch!


Oh and yesterday I walked by the FIOS call center in my building and it's being staffed by non union workers I guess. There was a woman who came in with her FIOS box and I heard her screaming at them through the closed door. I walked by to see what the commotion was and she was cursing her head off at them saying- "NO- I will NOT call the 800 number. I have been on hold with them for days. YOU call them. YOU get me some help"
And various other obscenties sprinkled in there. Classy!!
But there is obviously a lot of frustration going on!

Hope this stike ends soon!

Not happy either. I went to the Wendy's drive-thru yesterday to get lunch..a Verizon employee that was picketing stood in front of my car so I couldn't drive thru, I asked him why he was picketing Wendys...(?????) He said he wasn't but 2 Verizon scabs were having lunch there so he wanted everyone to know that...

Dude...now I'm just irritated with you. And I'm sure the people at Wendy's were thrilled you were annoying their customers trying to get through the drive-thru.

I just called to cancel our service (we switched back to Opt a few days ago)...I made it through all of the "cancellation menus" only to be told by the system that there are no reps available at all due to the strike & to try the website. Can you cancel your service through the website?!? I'm so ****** - I better not be billed for this time

Ugh its the WORST! Our phones were out a few weeks ago and it took FOREVER to get a live person. And even though they kept asking us to speak our questions, it never understood us

And hitting 0 and saying "operator" didn't do anything either

oh i so do feel your pain!!!!! I've been waiting now for a MONTH to get a technician to find out what the problems with my phone is. first they said it was my phone which is fairly new, so we went out and got a new one, still the same problem. .... now I have to wait till the end of the month for them to come out. ugg.... i'm so done with them!!!

Yeah it seems they really aren't gaining any sympathy for their cause with the way some of them are acting.

Harrasing people at Wendy's, cat calling women in parking lots, blocking traffic into my building.

My mom went to her local pizza place and there were Verizon employees striking outside because 2 employees were getting lunch inside.

My mom is a retired Verizon employee and she said at the last strike that one of the techs jumped in front of a managers car and she almost hit him. My mom said she ran into the bldg hysterical crying.

Yea s*cks that they are on strike so their customer service is lacking. Hopefully the scabs will have enough and just finally give these workers what they deserve.

As for the picketing outside Wendys, etc., the strikers follow the scabs all day to their jobs, breaks, etc. and pretty much harrass them. I guess its to embarrass the scab and make their work day worse and make people aware of whats going on, however the cat calling and preventing people from driving, etc is ridiculous.

I do feel bad for these scabs but these people that they are bringing in should NOT be doing these jobs. The amount of pressure the company is putting on these guys to do someone elses job that they are not trained in plus the picketers in their faces all day is horrible.
