ok so I hate to admit that I just gave in and watched one of his promo snip it things
so he says " Ive been talking with the family for a very very long time" and I am not going to quote because I dont remember his exact words but he went on to say that he didnt feel it needed to be made public that he was talking to the family...so why are you making it public now?! Because now you can get a ton of publicity just in time for your 1000th episode?

not sure where you got your Dr. Phil info, but he did in fact go to the hospital trying to get her to appear on his tv show so he can help her. Plus, there is footage (with the cameras) outside the hospital. He did an interview for Extra or one of those shows in front of the hospital she was in. He doesn't have her intrest, he wants viewers. That is horrible.

If he really had Britany's best interest at heart, he wouldn't have planned a show around it
and
he should have declined all and any interviews regarding the incident! Especially interviews with any of the entertainment programs.
Instead he (and the studio) are trying to capitalize on it.

read first, then type. Not sure where you came up with hotel, we are talking about the hospital. Cameras were outside the hospital. He is the one that choose to talk to them. Obviously he doesn't have her intrest at heart. He wants the press, he wants viewers.

i haven't liked Dr. Phil since he was first on Oprah.
his "camp" and britney's "camp" are telling two different sides to the same story. he said he was with her for an hour and walked her to her car, she said she saw him for 15 minutes and left - by herself.
he may want to have her and her family on his show, that's their decision to make.
i just don't like him because he is so annoying. i hate his voice. i've never seen his show so i don't know if he's done "more harm than good" but i know i couldn't sit 10 minutes in a room with him without wanting to  at what he was saying (basing this on what i did see when he was on Oprah)
still, kristin, there was no need to berate the OP for not knowing specifically why she doesn't like Dr. Phil - and the crack about wyoming was obnoxious and unnecessary. haven't you ever just had a bad feeling about someone?

And thats fine. I read the celebrity board. I look at all the pictures of the celebrities like on vacation, eating dinner. Thats TV and people keep looking and keep buying. My self included. Like I said im not a huge fan of him cause most of the stuff on his show doesn't interest me.
The same thing can be about all the judge shows. Not one of them is a real judge and any channel you put on has a judge show. People like it people watch it. My point is If you don't like it put something else on. Thats all.

I think having a bad feeling about someone and hating someone are 2 different things. When you say "I hate dr. Phil and that is all" Im sure you have to assume that people will ask why?
She said she lives in the boonies and thats the big news there and all they are talking about.... Well I have the same news as the hamptons and montauck! And still If I don't like it I can change the channel.
