He drives me insane, but my Mom & Sister love him, then even went out to CA to see him. He always urked me, but now with him offering his services to Brittany (with the cameras mind you) I can't stand the man

Did you hear Howard yesterday? They were going off on him and how he got his PhD from a 4 tier college....  And his doctoral thesis was on rheumatoid arthritis!

I actually watch an interview with him and he said He never said it would be with cameras. There will not be an interview for tv right away. His main concern is getting her help and helping her children. He also has been in contact with her mom for a long time.

Im not a huge fan. Don't usually watch him cause nothing on his show interests me same goes for oprah. But I don't hate them

He is just so in love with himself, if he really wanted to help people he would stop doing his show and get off tv, and actually help..from wikipedia "As of 2008, McGraw is still not licensed to practice psychology." So why is he?
I just turned on my tv and there he is talking about Britney and all the help she needs and where she should be....if he really gave a sh*t he would stop talking about her on tv, and give her a phone call...all the extra publicity is probably not what she needs right now, but im sure its great for him.

but he went to the hospital to visit her?  I would think thats better then calling her no

I find him replusive, slimy and incredibly insulting to his viewers that because he has a half-asked Phd he can call himself "doctor". All I know is that if he were licensed as a therapist in the state of CA, he would have had his license revoked for numerous reasons.
I won't even continue- there are so MANY things I can't stand about this man.

This is very true. His PhD is NOT in the Psychology field. I believe it's in Anthropology or some unrelated field. I majored in Psych and NONE of my professors who were practicing psychologists had an ounce of respect for him. He tried to jump on the Britney money wagon too, but got dumped real quick.

 again my day time television viewing has actually been interrupted to slip in a blurb about him, ya know when someone from the news comes on and talks about something thats supposed to be big news to get everyone to watch...

not sure where you got your Dr. Phil info, but he did in fact go to the hospital trying to get her to appear on his tv show so he can help her. Plus, there is footage (with the cameras) outside the hospital. He did an interview for Extra or one of those shows in front of the hospital she was in. He doesn't have her intrest, he wants viewers. That is horrible.

I dislike Dr. Phil immensely. I don't watch his show. I try to ignore all things related to him, but it's a little difficult when he's constantly whoring himself for attention.
I have stopped watching network news. It's just poisonous.
