I am rip-roaring mad!
We were invited out for a friends bday yesterday. I got the very clear impression all week that DH did not want me coming, but too bad. Why should I sit at home while he goes out?! So I arranged for my SIL to come over and babysit.
So we go out to eat and DH was kind of being an a$$ the whole time. We were out from 8pm-1am and I was like, we have to go. Your sister is probably falling asleep in the couch. So he gives me a big attitude and walks away. I go up to him and was like "we've had the coversation before, when you go somewhere with your wife, you leave with her." He made a stink that he shouldn't have to leave just because I'm pregnant and have to go. So I walked out. He wound up following me out and we walked home fighting. Where he very kindly announced that he "knew you (meaning me) was going to pull this sh!t" and thats' exactly why he didn't want me to come. I'm sorry, we have someone at our house watching our child. Whether I was preggo or not, why should I have to run home while he stays out drinking?!
So we got home and he had the balls to go back out!!! So I locked all of the doors. I even went as far as to flip the lock on our tenants door so that I could lock it from our side. I'm still not sure how, but somehow he still managed to get in. He's still passed out and I have no interest in taking to him any time soon!

You have every right to be mad. I hope he comes to his senses and your day gets better. It sounds like he was acting like a big baby last night.

You know what this is a PERFECT day for vacuuming. Right now.
I'd be FUMING but mostly from his passive aggressive BS about not wanting me to join him in the FIRST place.
I hope he makes up for it, BIG TIME.

I definitley would have locked the doors as well! Oooh and hes still sleeping...Heck No...Bucket of ice cubes works wonders! Get his butt up and have him go rake leaves or something!

He wanted you to walk home in the dark preggo at 1am??? He cant be serious. I agree with you, he leaves when you leave. 1 am is not too early....he has a child now...1am is probably too late... I agree with you for being angry. Good Luck to him defending his position today. Sorry it happened to you

He didn't want me walking alone, which is why he walked with me. He just didn't think he should have to come home at all. Had I gotten in a cab he probably would have just stayed out.

He's 33 years old. And in general doesn't go out too often. But when he does, he gets a little out of contro. His friends are all immature and go out 2-3 nights a week, so in comparison, DH thinks he's the perfect husband.

The lock that separates us from our tenant is like a regular door. He probably just messed with it until it opened. And I thought I was so slick. I actually unscrewed the handle and flipped it around so I would be able to lock it from my end.  He's known me for 15 years, he couldn't have possibly thought he was going to go back out and I was just going to let that happen without any retaliation.

Wow, DH and I would not have a very good relationship if he thought those were the "rules" of our marriage. First off, I would be pi$$ed that DH didn't want me going in the first place. BS, then you're not going. Second, to actually think 1am was too early???? You BOTH have a child and you are pregnant, its time for him to grow up. You are his wife, he needs to start treating you that way.
Sorry but that story really pi$$ed me off.

This man needs a reality check, desperately. If I remember correctly, you have had similar(but not the same) issues with him in the past(staying out really late), etc. You're pregnant and have a child at home. One would think he would have gone home early and get up with his child so his pregnant wife can relax.
I cannot believe he was still sleeping, by the way. I am so mad for you!

I may be wrong but I think you have had these issues with him going out before right? I really think this is a huge issue, its so disrespectful...Why wouldnt he want you there in the first place? your his WIFE...he should want you there. Im so sorry
