first cut was at kiddie kutz and it was $25 i think. but we paid for the novelty of it...the cute chair, first haircut certificate, etc. Nowadays he goes to the barber that DH goes to and we pay $5 but we tip him $10 cause we love him so much.  it balances out...he wont ever charge alot for DS cause he loves him but we make sure to take care of him for being so good to us.

a family friend does it for $18. Its his shop so that includes the tip. I think its a lot especially since hes our friend but now we cant not go to him. Im sorry I ever started going

I brought DS to the place I go to across the street from us. They charge $13 for a kids cut and all i had was a $20, 10 & 5 in my wallet at the time for the tip so i handed the girl a $5..so $18 total. Im not going back there.
There is a place near me that charges 5.99 which i will try next b/c thats a tad more reasonable. DS hair grows fast and we were cutting it, but with him moving so much now its hard and i want it cut the right way.
Dh pays $10 at the barber for his cuts..but for some reason wont take him to his barber

not a kiddie place. a regular barber shop when my DH goes. our other place is $8. Again, a regular place not specifically for kids.

I took DS to a kids place for his first cut and it was $25 plus tip. After that he has been going to a regular barber ($8).
Same for us. We will do the same for DS#2, if he has as much hair as his brother does.
