how long did LO teeth & at what age?
at what age did your LO cut his/her first tooth, and how long before that was s/he teething? my guy has been miserable for what seems like forever, and still no sign of any pearly whites. hoping they are coming soon.

Re: how long did LO teeth & at what age?
DD didn't get her first tooth until about a year old. But I didn't really notice any signs of teething, it just popped up one day. She is always cranky and crabby- so teething was no different!

Re: how long did LO teeth & at what age?
DD's bottom teeth cut at 4 months old. Then nothing for another 4 months. Now at 8 months she has an additional 6 teeth cutting through. Right before any teeth cut she is miserable at night and very fussy with feedings. That's how we know a tooth is about to push through. She also chomps down on everything she can get her hands on.

Re: how long did LO teeth & at what age?
started with "teething signs" at about 3 months, cut his first 2 bottom teach at 6 months exactly.
at 12 months, he had 4 teeth. By 18 months, he had 12!!!
Now at 26 months, DS has 16 teeth, currently teething again with his 2 year molars.

Re: how long did LO teeth & at what age?
DS started with his teething signs around 4 months.
He cut his first tooth at 7 months, and the second one came shortly after. The next two were around 9 months.
He had 8 teeth by 1 and all of his teeth by 21 months.
He was a HORRIBLE teether.

DD is 15 months and has basically always been teething. I think around 3 mo she was mouthing her hands and anything else like crazy, she was always a bad sleeper and got her first tooth at 5 months. By 12 months she had 12 teeth. Now at 15 months she has tooth #13 coming in. I don't think there's really been a time since 3 months that she wasn't "teething".

Re: how long did LO teeth & at what age?
DD started to show signs of teething around 4 months. At her 5 month dr appt. the dr. said her gums were very white and swollen and teeth should be coming soon. Well, no teeth until this past weekend, she cut her 2 bottom teeth. She will be 8 months a week from today.
ETA: Looking back, one sure sign they were coming soon was for the past 3 weeks she would not let us near her mouth to brush her gums. We brush her gums everynight during bathtime and she usually loved it. But the last few weeks she would push it away and shake her head.

ok this scared me. lol i don't think i can take much more teething. and i see no white or swollen gums, but he's been drooly, fussy, and shoving anything he can in his mouth since his 4 month well visit. he's 6 months today and no sign of white or swollen gums, don't feel teeth coming in when i rub his gums, but he's more and more irritable every day. and the new high-pitched screech he does when he cries is not exactly pleasant. i feel so bad for him, i wish these teeth would just come in already!

i seriously did not know that babies could teeth for so long before ever getting them in! the cranky level jumped up a lot in the past week though, so hopefully it's a sign that he's close.

I could be teething but could be the oral phase they go through. I thought dd was teething around 4 months but the dr said no just the oral phase and trying to figure out her mouth and stuff. That being said I think her first tooth popped out around 51/2-6 months. I saw white and bumps before. She teethed pretty quickly after that and now at 2 all teeth except 2 molars.
