At what age did you start flossing DC's teeth?
DS (2 years old) gets a lot of food stuck between his teeth and no amount of brushing will get rid of it. I found Toddler Floss at TRU, but he won't let me even try to get between his teeth. I've been good about brushing his teeth every day, but no amount of brushing is going to take out the food stuck between his teeth!

I started flossing my kids teeth at 3 years old. As soon as they started seeing the dentist. i use those floss picks and do it for them.

I floss my 2 and 3 year olds teeth daily. I have since around their 1st birthday. I have only had 1 cavity my whole life and it was a baby tooth when I was 3, so I wanted to start good habit young to hopefully avoid that with my girls. My girls love getting their teeth brushed and flossed so I am not much help on how to do it since they ask all day to have it done
We use these Dentek Fun Flossers They smell good so I let the girls smell them first and pick which color to use.

We just started doing it at 3 1/2. I got little animal flossers and she does it herself. We still don't do it everyday but better then nothing.

Thanks for the flossing advice! DS keeps biting on the picks sideways when he does let me put it in his mouth (which is rare). The dentek floss may make it more fun for DS. I'm going to make a run to Target to get them!
