Depends. When we sold 3.5 hours because the buyers bank was the hold up. When we bought in and out in 2 hours. Would have been quicker but the sellers bank was at lunch!

When we closeted were told to except it to be 2 hours... Lasted only 1....congratulations an good luck!!

Totally depends on the bank and the attorneys. If the attorneys do everything in advance (calculate adjustments, etc.), and the bank has the money there when you start, it is usually like an hour and 15 to an hour and a half.
Some banks, however, have to approve everything last minute and then you are waiting for them to wire the funds so checks can be cut, and that can take a LONG time. Like half a day!

I would say just about an hour. I think everyone kept things going for us because we our twins were being discharged from the NICU that day.

we were told 2 hours but it took 2 hours 45 minutes, that is mostly because the sellers attorney was so unorganized - she left a bunch of papers at her office and her assistant had to fax them to her

it only took us around an hour...
It honestly depends on what "complications" come up last minute.
For example... when MY bank ran my name to approve my mortgage, it came back with unpaid parking tickets for a license with a Brooklyn address with my EXACT name... if it was me (it wasnt) im sure it would have taken longer....

totally depends. could be any where from 45 minutes to 3-4 hours. if any problems crop up last minute, it can cause some major unexpected delays.

We were there for hours. Our closing was in the morning but when everything was signed they couldn't do anything because bank of america headquarters was in Arizona and they we're open yet so we had to wait another hour for them to open
Oh and also they wouldn't let us proceed because someone from bank of america had called me and asked me if I was interested in information on some mortgage insurance program. They said they had in the paperwork that I agreed to pay it (like 114 a month) so then they made us wait until they could call someone to confirm that I did not agree to it

When we bought our first house it took about 1 hr 30 min to close.
When we sold that house it took LESS THAN an hr!! It was insanely quick!!
We when bought our current house we were there over 4 hrs!!! It was crazy, it was late, after 6pm. And it was almost a dead closing bc so many things werent right with paperwork.
Someone def dropped the ball on that closing...it wasnt my attorney, in fact he was sp annoyed as well, i am pretty sure it was the mortgage broker he messed up a lot of things and everything was an issue!
Needless to say...I am a lot smarter this time around!!!
