when should I find out the closing date?
In the contract we signed it said on or about May 15th. We still haven't heard anything from anyone on a date yet. Is that weird? My husband is out of town and will be back tomorrow, so I will have him call out lawyer tomorrow.

I bugged our lawyer almost every day. There are so many cogs and they don't all move at the same rate. Sometimes the paralegal in my lawyer's office needed to call the bank to get them moving.

If the closing date was on or about 5/15 you have up to 30 days after that date to close....so up until 6/15.

our contract read on or about 4/15 but we knew from the onest that she would be moving on 5/15. we received the "official" closing date and time early last week and closed yesterday.
