Hi Ladies!!! I'm a MOMMY
Hey!!!! So in true Diva fashion, my little princess entered the world the day of the first snow storm of the year and we were discharged on the COLDEST day of the year, she does nothing without being majorly over the top!!!!

I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER DELIVERY!!!!
I had two contractions at like 7 pm, but that was it, at 8PM they started coming on INSANELY strong, but I wasn't sure if it was contractions or a really bad reaction to chinese food My Dr. got a kick out of that....Anyway, if you guys remember, I had a Dr's appt that morning and I was only 1-2CM dilated and 60% effaced BUT I was feeling off that day, I just felt like I kept having to go to the bathroom for a BM ALL day and my Dog was following me everywhere, MORE so than usual...so I just had a gut feeling something was up....
So, at 8, I started timing contractions and they were roughly 4 minutes apart and PAINFUL, I stayed at home until 10:30ish when I told DH to get dressed, but Drive slow, it could be still just a really bad reaction to food, yes I still didn't know if it was true labor or not, bc I still felt like I needed to go to the bathroom....We called the Dr like 5 minutes before we got to the hospital and told us not to rush in bc they may send me home etc...WELL, I come in and they check me, I am now 5CM dilated and 100% effaced, and contractions are 2 mins apart with no downtime, my nurse who was AMAZING was like you're not getting any breaks in between these, so she immediately paged the anesthesiologist which was literally a man that should be paid 10 billion dollars a year, he should be making more than the president I would hope, bc this man was beyond words, or what he did to me was ....He couldn't believe how "good" labor I was in, and how I held out for so long....from the LABOR not the epi I was shivering A LOT and that freaked DH out the most out of anything I want to say, he kept saying are you still cold are you still cold and the anesthesiologist had to explain to him that it was the labor that was making me shiver not me being cold or anything....anyway after 40 minutes my dr walks in and I'm now 7CM dilated, another 40 minutes pass with a minute of pitocin I'm now 10 cm and ready to push...the mood in the delivery room was hysterical we were all laughing and cracking jokes....I do not LIE when I tell you I did not feel her coming out!!!! I had no idea, it was insane, seriously, I pushed for prob 15-20 minutes and they told us to look down and she was out, we were both like huh, we thought this was going to be a long painful arduous process....She was out at 1:30 AM so a total of 2.5 hours at the hospital!!!!!!!! They did break my water, when I was 7CM and there was some meconium, so I didn't get to hold her right away after they checked her, her AGAPAR score was a 9/9 and she was perfect!!! I finally got to meet her...
She was 6 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long..shes a little peanut....
I think she looks like daddy or yoda from star wars, the verdict is still out...
Ladies, I could not have gotten through this without you guys, you guys have been absolutely amazing to me and have answered and listened to all my craziness!!! So my heart and gratitude goes out to all of you!!!!!!

What a wonderful labor! Congrats to you and your DH on such a beautiful little girl. I can't beleive how alert she is in the picture, how adorable. Enjoy the holidays with your new bundle of joy!

jenn, i am SOOOOOOOO happy for you!! Chelsea is beautiful, and you sound GREAT!! Ive been thinking about you guys all weekend!!
Im so glad everything went so smoothly! And it just proves the "ya never know when theyre coming" theory..
Let lil Chelsea know that soon her future shopping partner in crime will be here, and we'll hit up Dennys and Pastrami King before MAJOR baby weight loss starts!!! lol

I don't know if you remember but we've chatted over FM that we're in the same town...hope to see you and that sweet little girl around! We'll have to have our little girls have a playdate when mine arrives!
