yes! a few i knew from outside LIF in real life. my BF introduced me originally to LIW
i've also become very close to 2 ladies (originally from LIW) who i now consider 2 of my closest friends. sometimes i don't know what i'd do without them

Whenever I come home, I try to get together with some of the Mommy-types from the Parenting board. Its nice to have playdates when I am away from my home here.

What's funny is that I never thought you could make friends via a computer. I only joined LIW last year to plan my wedding. BUT... now I have a group of girls that I think the world of that I have. I have met some of them in 'real' life and I look forward to adding a few others to my off line friends at some point in the future!

one i know for a longtime!!
another one i have been to her house a couple of times.
and another one i been to her apt even went to a Brooklyn cyclone's game with!

I have been talking to a lot of people on here for years and years but only met a few at Deb's Fundraiser. I was too shy to really talk to anyone.
I found some old classmates on here and DH's friends, classmates, and cousin
And nylisa's IL's live next door to me

From 2000 through now, LIW to LIF as well as private boards I chat on.
Ive been blessed with a wonderful bunch of mommy friends and lots of friends for the kiddies.
The internet is amazing!
I just cant communicate with those that have ZERO comprehension of the value of the internet. You MET these moms online, how did you do that ? WOW be careful...
