Very much so. I've met some truly amazing women who have become some of my best friends.
It's the best of both worlds. We get to converse about very real things on the computer, and then meet in person and have some great times together.

I met a few at last years Fundraiser and GTG @ Applebees.
Met one last month.
I even met someone today.

2 of my bridesmaids post (1 I have been BF with since kindergarten and the other I have been friends with since HS) and coincidentally, I know 3 others IRL pre-LIF. I met some wonderful girls through LIW that carried over but not so much directly LIF.
