Re: Grudges

If someone insults me or my family, I will probably hold that grudge forever. I don't forget and I don't forgive either.
Me too.
However, I would not hold a grudge over the cutting board.

Re: Grudges
I hold grudges - it don't think it consumes me, but if I get a bad first impression from someone, or someone says or does something at work I dislike on first impression...I don't think about it everyday , but it will take a lot for them to redeem themselves

Over a cutting board, no, but if it was a spork?, Man, he better run for the hills.

Re: Grudges
I guess I hold grudges about certain things.
Maybe I'm missing part of the story? I don't see why you're so uspet, although I don't like being called sweetheart by co-workers

Re: Grudges
I have 1 grudge and that's on an ex BF and it was almost 7 years ago. I had to be in a bridal party with him this weekend, and I still refused to talk to him........

Re: Grudges
The majority of the time, no. In fact, I'm usually the first to apologize, because I hate confrontation and would rather just have things friendly.

Re: Grudges
That's annoying! I don't so much hold grudges as it just ruins my image of a person when they do something like that - so basically, forgive but not forget.

Re: Grudges
I dont hold grudges but I also dont forget. In your situation if it is over a cutting board thats fine bc that is what you do for a living...work with food. I think everyone has their own BS they deal with that relates to their job. I am a social worker and I am sure people could care less about some of the things that go on here. My point is I dont think its about the actual thing your mad over...its about how to handle it. I think a better choice is to talk it out, work it out...dont hold a grudge. It will eat you up.
