Us too. We just bought a new 32" Samsung HDTV LCD tv. We did a lot of research and think Samsung is the best.

We have a samsung and an LG and I prefer the LG. I think the HD picture on the LG is much sharper.

Our living room isn't that big - so we probably shouldn't go TOO big. I'm thinking the 40 something inch range. And we would LOVE to spend less than 1,000.

It's a little more around $1,300 Sharp LC-42D62U which is a good LCD.

Yeah, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a 40+ inch for less than 1k. Our 32 inch was 1k.

we have the 42" sharp aquos and love it.
it was between the Samsung and the Sharp, but the Sharp was a much better deal.

We just went to do this yesterday. Toshiba and Philips had the BEST color out of every other brand there. You can see the difference clearly. LG was pretty good too.

sharp aquos all the way.
we bought a 30 inch back in 2004 when that is as big as they were.
Now we have a 42 inch one as well.
