can someone tell me which brands of cribs are good?
our 1st one is 2nd hand, and we are considering a convertible 3-in-1 for baby #2.
Sears had some Delta brand ones for $120

I don't know yet, but the Baby Bargains book rates them all... I plan to start looking in there.

I got the Generation Next. It was the sturdiest of all the ones we saw & had some great features. Luckily my ILs bought it b/c it was $500 on sale

We picked a Legacy (made by Childcraft) one. After we saw it, I looked it up in Baby Bargains and they got an A. They said they're really good craftmanship and that they test their furniture for things like extra weight hanging off the side to make sure they're sturdy (like if your child eventually desides to try and climb up the dresser using the drawers).
