So what are you telling your daughter?
Depending on how old her DD is, she might not have to say a word! I would say a kid under 3 would be easily appeased. You could probably just say it's in "a couple months" if they asked now, and chances are they'd totally forget about it down the line and drop the subject.
Now, an older kid, like 5-6 years old, would hold you to it and would definitely remember you had the tix. That would be tougher.
Truthfully, this mad rush across America to buy tickets for hundreds of dollars for fear of "disappointing" a kid speaks volumes about the way we're raising our kids today and the values we're instilling in them. An occasional disappointment is not going to kill a kid. I'm not saying their life has to be bleak and miserable like something out of a Dickens novel either... just that we don't have to cater to EVERY whim of a toddler. No 2 year old is going to wind up in therapy because their parents denied them a Fresh Beat Band concert
I have just stopped mentioning it, and the kids have not said anything. I'm guessing they forgot already
About the dickens novel comment

ITA. We have tix, we are going (I would never sell them). However, even though my 3yo knows, if I told her we cant go, she would have no problem with that. She is too young to make "demands" lol. At that age, they easily forget and dont have a concept of time.

I don't begrudge the OP for trying to sell them for market value- but I think it's disgusting that people buy tickets to things simply for the purpose of re-selling for a profit. Same goes for the "hot" toys during the holidays.
They should start making concert tickets like plane tickets- with a specific name and having to show a matching ID to get in. That would stop price gouging.
Unfortunately, for toys and such, there's no way around it.

When we went to Hannah Montana they were completely paperless and you had to show ID to get in. Great idea!

For anyone with a very dissapointed dc there are still very reasonable tix to the Hershey performances. I bought them from ticketmaster for $26 each and we're staying overnight and doing the chocolate factory the next day. I believe they are on stubhub type sites now for around $60.
We are going to be in that area on Friday, so this would be perfect, but the website shows no tickets available. When did you buy them?

A few weeks ago. Guess it also sold out- although much much slower than NY. I see them on Stub Hub right now from around $50. You could also try some of the PA cities on CL.
I love to make trips out of things so we're really looking forward. Between the three tix and a night at the Hershey Hampton Inn (which has a heated indoor pool for hanging out after we go to the concert and eat somewhere) I've only spent $165. Maybe we'll spend another $100 on gas, food, and admissions at the chocolate factory. Less than one single price gouged ticket, haha.

Re: Fresh Beat Band tickets available
I'm shocked that these tickets are selling for this much $ and that anyone would pay even the regular price for them let alone resale .... BUT I don't understand what the big deal is with the OP wanting to sell them? Her tickets, her kid, her family, her money & her business . If you want the tickets buy them if not move on, whats the big deal? Why call her names and make her sound like a criminal? Is there a rule that says you can sell the tickets anywhere but LIF?
Sorry, after so many years on LIF I just still don't get certain things....

Re: Fresh Beat Band tickets available
So don't buy them! But I'm sure some families on here can afford them. People spend a crap load of money on their kids so let her market them! And if someone buys them more power to her! And people who didn't get the tickets sorry life sometimes isn't fair! I'm selling mine as well for march 25 in manhattan.
