Fresh Beat Band tickets available
I decided to sell our Fresh Beat Band tickets to put the money away for DD.
We have 3 tickets for the Westbury show on March 24 at 4pm. I listed them on stubhub for 400 each. We really want 1000 total to make it worth it for not taking DD but StubHUB takes a commission. So if any of you are interested or know someone interested, just FM me.

Is there an extra zero in here? You want $400 for a $40 ticket to FBB from other mommies on a website where we are supposed to help and support each other? Seriously?
Sorry, but in light of all the disappointed moms and kids that couldn't get tickets because it sold out so fast, I think this is rude and obnoxious.
Take it to Stubhub where you can really get over on someone and then not have to rely on them to give you good advice in the future.

So don't buy them, what's the issue? I'm selling mine for more then she s asking. Support each other, is harsh considering they are just concert tickets.

Just concert tickets that tons of moms on here were looking for. I don't think they want to get the lube in order to get them. It was TACKY.

ITA.
Why shouldn't she try to sell them here? She's asking less than you're going to find on Stubhub (due to the commission). The tix are sold out. People are willing to pay hundreds of dollars to get their hands on these tix. Thus, the market supports that price.
She's not scamming anybody, she's charging WHAT THE MARKET WILL BEAR. Prices are driven up like this because fools who probably can't afford such an indulgence are willing to pay ridiculous prices. I don't see any reason why she should forgo the profit she can make on Stubhub, and practically give them away just because this is LIF. LIF is not my family or close circle of friends, it's an online forum of people I've never met.

appraently DD watchs it and loves it. I had a chance to buy them presake and i didnt cause i feel she was to young to enjoy, and i didnt want to spend $75 on tickets for a kid concert for her not really enjoy it.
I should have bought them cause i think now she will enjoy them but there is no way in hell would i pay 500 for tickets
I cant believe people are paying that much for them!!! Its insane to me.
ETA: i cant believe any kid will really remember this concert or be disapointed for not going to it. IMO

Yes, but I don't see you offering them HERE and rubbing it in the noses of the women you have a camaraderie with who you KNOW are looking for tickets for their disappointed kids. I do not begrudge anyone selling them on stubhub/craigslist/ebay to get that down payment on college, but don't do it here. You know that expression, don't sh!t where you eat? If it was say a $40 ticket for $50 or even $60 because of supply/demand, fine, forgivable, but almost a 1000% markup is obnoxious

The OP has 143 posts. I don't think she feels any sense of obligation due to "camaraderie". It's just business.

Re: Fresh Beat Band tickets available
I have no problem with being open and honest on here. I paid $156 for the tickets. Does my child want to go. Yes. Do I want to take her yes. But given the fact that people are looking for the tickets I am looking in my child's best interest and the money for her future would do her better. I dont think its ballsy to let other mothers know that tickets are available. In fact I did say $1000 for all three which is cheaper that you will get on stub hub.
It's a cost benefit analysis for me and my family. I posted the tickets for sale and if they dont sell then I will take her.
Some of the comments are just rude and ridiculous. If you dont like what I posted simply read and move on. I didn't ask for an opinion or anyone's advice for that matter. I simply posted information on available tickets. To those responses that supported my original post. Thank you.

TBH I did post on other websites. I have quite a few FM's asking about purchasing the four tickets. I responded to FM by pricing the tickets substantially lower here, then on the other sites.

Re: Fresh Beat Band tickets available
I cannot believe anyone would ever pay $400 for a fresh beat band ticket for a toddler...I would take that money and go on a mini vacation as opposed to watching a toddler concert...
I guess if money is no object, then whatever, but i seriously cannot believe that there are parents willing to pay that!!! Wow!!

I posted a thread last week with an article saying in some parts of the country they are going for $2000 per ticket. Not saying it makes sense, but it is what it is. I dont think the OP was trying to scam anyone, only making it known they are for sale.

I think it's fine to post them here. She's asking less than what the market will pay.
On another note - I wouldn't be surprised if they do a bigger tour after this, knowing how much money they will make. They must be in shock that people are going this crazy over them.

I agree.
How long is the show? I can't see myself spending that amount of money for a hour show.
Crazy what some people will pay. $1000 or more...I rather take the kids to Disney (and I was one of the people who said they have no desire to ever go LOL).

nothing says camaraderie like callings someone rude and obnoxious. and like you said, the OP knew people on here were looking for them, so why not post it?
