Re: Feeling very down.....
All I can think of is that the issues with you and your husband stems from all the stress you're under: two babies, construction, family strife. Perhaps one night away from it all, just dinner and a bath and a hotel room would help you to step down the stress level and relax around each and really talk...no tv, no phone calls...you don't even have to go out to dinner, just drop the babies off, pump away before hand and then leave your house for one night, even if its a holiday inn down the road with room service dinner. really talk to each other and discuss your needs, his needs, family issues, and how you can both act more as a team.
in any case, lots of hugs, i know you love your DH and I think you two will get through this together.

Re: Feeling very down.....
I can't even imagine what you are going through. All I can say is I agree with everyone, the first year is the hardest. But for you, its even harder because you suffered such a loss. Your DH needs to be a little more understanding. You have enough on your plate, he can't expect you to do it all. He needs to step up and do his part. I remember when I was pg with my little ones, I had no bathroom and the babies room wasn't done. Not until I went into the hospital did my Dh finally finish the bathroom. Not to get off point here, but you and dh are partners, a team, you have to work together. You need the support, someone to fall back on, you can't always be the strong one. My heart hurts for you.
