Does anyone TTC naturally?

By naturally i mean no ovulating test, temp, etc? I am going to start TTC in a few months and was thinkingf or the 1st few months of just and see what happens?

That's how I got pregnant the first time on the first try, but since that resulted in a m/c I don't want to waste anymore time so I'm doing an OPK. Good luck with whatever you do. Happy !

all the time! you have a small sampling of TTCers here.

I do these things because 1. i had trouble, including a m/c and 2. short timeline (35 yo and only a few month window to TTC before it becomes financially difficult and I lose any hopes of a real maternity leave)

Thanks for the input. I think for 3 months i will wing it. Then i will start other methods. Just figured it would be less stressful and more fun.

I have 1 DS and am TTC #2 now.

I dont chart (dont even really know what that is) never taken an ovulation test, etc.

I am lucky that my AF is like clock work so the only thing I do do, is go online plug in my last AF date to find out approximately when I am ovulating.

With DS, I didnt understand that you could get pregnant a few days before or after Oday. I thought you had to do it on that one day.

Well we BD 2 or 3 days before (I was actually trying not to get pregnant that month) and low and behold I got pregnant.

ETA: My plan is 3-6 months of just winging it and then try other methods.

This is what we are doing. For now. Obviously if it comes to months and months we may want to try another option to help.

Only thing I do is enter my AF in my cell phone to get an idea every month.

the only thing i am doing is using a monthly period tracker that estimates my O dates and that is all we are doing. We are not in a rush and really planning on seriously trying next year. if it happens it happens i will start really trying to do all the extra stuff if a year has gone by.

I started out this way. At the six month mark I started using OPKs. The idea of temping stresses me out too much for me to consider it.

I did. We figured we would do TTC the old fashioned way and just "wing" it for at least 3-6 months. My cycle has always been pretty regular so I was able to estimate my ovulation date. The way I see it is past generations never had OPK's and things like that and they fared just fine. How did we all get here?!? KWIM? I just let mother nature do the work. Thankfully I conceived on our 2nd month trying.

I havent officially started TTC but I think Im just to obessed with the idea of getting pregnant fast. I have already purchased my basal thermometer and havent even gotten off BCP yet I think it will be very hard for me to wing it..

I can feel myself ovulating. So last month I knew it was coming, DH and I BD'd a few times, and 2 weeks later I POAS and got a BFP.

i started out with winging it then i did temping and then got OPK's. i did that for 2 months but DH is very against all that stuff.
he thinks if its meant to happen for us then it will and that we should do it naturally. we got into a few fights about it so i have since stopped using additional things and this month we are back to winging it.

I know when I am ovulating, but I enjoy using the tests and temping b/c I'm a freak. Basically it makes me feel like I have some control over a situation I basically have no control over.

we are going to...

first we thought we'd maybe try for a girl but after looking into it it we don't want to be bothered with it, we want to enjoy it and it not be a chore...

so we plan on winging it and seeing what happens - by just having sex like normal without protection and seeing what happens...hopefully it result in a quick pregnancy...

most people i know stopped being careful and got pregnant right away so i hope i have the same luck...

ME!!! i dont even know how to do all this stuff and dont plan on learning if all goes well!!! i got pregnant with dd that way and it was on the first shot.. hoping that it works again this month.. if not ill try the same way for another month then MAYBEill try the opks

i am on my 1st month of TTC and am just winging it. I plan do do this for a few months and if it doesnt work ill start using all the other methods

we did for the first month and were for at least 3 - but this is my second month and we are doing deannas plan - i just dont want to waste any time

We do- and we conceived DS and now baby #2 both on the first try. We are truly blessed!

We are! This is our first month and we're just doing the BD whenever we feel like it. We'll probably do this for about 3 months or so and if it doesn't work out, then we may try some of the other things.

this is my 2nd month ttc and aside from going online to my monthly calculator i am not doing much else but around my O date. I looked into deanna's plan, but decided i will just wing it a few more months, then i will try her plan and opk
