Do you want to know the gender?
Are you going to find out the gender of your baby or leave it as a surprise? I will def. want to know! I dont think I can wait 9 months

I think this will be my plan too.
I once said something to DH about not wanting to find out and he looked at me like I had six heads. I think I could talk him in to being surprised but I think I changed my mind anyway. After the first, I think a surprise would be fun!

With DS we didn't know and it was wonderful to keep that element of surprise. It was totally a motivating thing when it was very late in the pregnancy and I was miserable.
When we have #2 however I would like to find out. #2 will be our last so I figure why now. Plus then if its a girl I can start getting rid of all the boy stuff I have stored for #2. And if its a boy I wont feel bad hoarding so much!

I am the same way. Staying team green has no appeal to me. I'll be team green by no choice of my own until I'm far along enough for them to tell me!

Nope. We didn't find out with our DD and we don't want to know for subsequent children. The single greatest experience of my life was hearing "IT'S A GIRL" after months of waiting and anticipating and being convinced I was having a boy. There was just nothing like that surprise, it was awesome!

i NEED to know.
i like the idea of waiting for the surprise element- but there is NO WAY i could wait. plus- i want to decorate the nursery before he/she comes!

I always thought I would have to know, however, my thoughts have changed recently....I want DH to have an exciting part in all of this...the part where he gets to go out to the waiting room and share with our closest friends and family that "its a boy" or "its a girl".
