Do you think this is expensive?
$355 per person for a bachelorette party on the north fork in late May or June that includes:
2 night accommodations 5 hour tour including 3 wineries Lunch at one of the wineries Limo transportation from hotel to and from wineries 3 course dinner Sales tax Dinner gratuity
Everyone is out of town (some from upstate ny, some from Philadelphia area) so everyone will have to travel.

Re: Do you think this is expensive?
I don't think it is expensive for what you are getting.
I think that considering the other cost factors...food for the other day, drinks, transportation...it might be more than some are comfortable spending on a bach party.

Do you think this is expensive?
For what it entails, no. For a bach party, yes.

Sounds typical compared to others I've been to. Is thee a one night option for those who can't swing it?

agreed. Not really a lot for what you are getting but it is a lot to shell out for a b-party

I agree as well. I wouldn't shell out that much money for a bach party..........especially on top of the shower gift, wedding gift, etc.

Unfortunately no because it's "in season". I only wanted to do one night but they said it's a two night minimum :-/
Thanks for all the responses!!

I'm torn on this. On one hand, it sounds like a great place for the amount you are getting but I also feel like almost $400 to stay here on LI and not "go away" per say is a lot.

Re: Do you think this is expensive?
It sounds very reasonable- I have spent more than that on bachelorette parties and it was only for 1 night and didn't include much alcohol.

For a couple of meals, hotel and transportation, no. But I wouldn't spend that much to go wine tasting.

Re: Do you think this is expensive?
I'm as cheap as they come and I don't think it's expensive for what you are getting.
Hailing from the Hudson Valley though, I am sure some of the Upstaters may think it's steep.

Re: Do you think this is expensive?
P.S. If you don't mind could you FM me the info about this? SIL is getting married next year and already has mentioned she'd be happy with doing the wineries. Several of us are mothers so getting away out east for a couple of days IS a vacation for us.

that sounds really cheap…. sounds like fun too… very rare now a days you get a non destination bachelorette party.
Most of the ones i have gone to or have heard about (within the last 5 years) all require a plane or a passport.
Enjoy

exactly the price is worth it for what you get but I don't know if people want to spend upwards of $500 on a bach party .

Honestly, I would not spend that much for a Bach party, but they just aren't my thing.
