Re: Do you think this is expensive?
That is not expensive for what you are getting. It is expensive for a bach party though. If it was for me and my DH- I'd jump at it. For me and a bunch of chicks- no thanks

Really great price for what you're getting. But very expensive for a bach party. That's a lot of money to expect people to shell out.

Not a bad price at all. As long as price was discussed with everyone ahead of time.

For what it entails, no. For a bach party, yes.
This...only because while the price may be 355, you'll probably end up spending close to 500 which I think is crazy.

I agree with this. I see that there is a 3 course meal, but is that the only meal included? If so, the price will definitely be closer to $500.

Exactly. That's not bad for 2 nights in a hotel, but I wouldn't want to spend 2 nights in a hotel for a bachelorette party.

I wouldn't pay that much for a bach party... I think that is a lot to ask of people. But can you send the info to the girls and ask for honest feedback?

P.S. If you don't mind could you FM me the info about this? SIL is getting married next year and already has mentioned she'd be happy with doing the wineries. Several of us are mothers so getting away out east for a couple of days IS a vacation for us.
Sent!!

$355 per person for a bachelorette party on the north fork in late May or June that includes:
2 night accommodations 5 hour tour including 3 wineries Lunch at one of the wineries Limo transportation from hotel to and from wineries 3 course dinner Sales tax Dinner gratuity
Everyone is out of town (some from upstate ny, some from Philadelphia area) so everyone will have to travel.
Nope, not really.

Re: Do you think this is expensive?
No, it is a good price for what you have planned. However, you will always have people who cannot afford it or don't want to pay for it. This can be a $100 bachelorette party or a $1000 pp bachelorette party. For every wedding I have been in, there was always people who would not want to do X or Y because of money.
There is usually always something I don't want to do either but I just go with the flow and try to make the bride happy.

Re: Do you think this is expensive?
I think it sounds like a good deal if it was a vacation I planned with my husband. I wouldn't want to shell that out for a bach. party though. However, ask me six or seven years ago, and I wouldn't have minded. I think having kids just really changes everything. At 34 with two kids, I'm not going on a two night bach. party. But money wise, not sooo bad- seems to include a lot.

It sounds like a good deal to me. I have a bachelorette party this coming weekend in Vermont and I'm spending a lot more and won't even be skiing.

For what you're getting, no it's a good price. And it's a good price for a Bach party. True story, my cousin is expected (not invited) to go on a yacht in the Bahamas for a bachelorette party!!! The bride said divided by 10 girls it shouldn't be that bad. This girl is out of her mind!! I don't get why nowadays bachelorette parties are mini vacations costing hundreds of dollars. IMO very ridiculous!!!! And forgot to add, my cousin who is supposed to go on this yacht party is having trouble getting off work and the bride is furious. She shouldn't expect everyone to shell out and drop everything and go. Ok vent over! OP it's a good price

Re: Do you think this is expensive?
I think its a great price for what you're getting but for a bachelorette party I find it expensive and you might have quite a few that will decline since they have to pay for their travel arrangements as well.

This. I would be pissed if I had to shell out that much money AFTER travel expenses to even get there.

Re: Do you think this is expensive?
I Agree, i wouldn't want to spend $355 on a bacheloretter party even if its not a bad deal.
Anyway you can go wine tasting and maybe just stay at a hotel closer to home? that way it would be a 1 night minimum and you can probably eat cheaper then too.
Honestly, $355 pp isnt cheap for a weekend away with DH either. Maybe we are just cheap, but thats over $700 for a 2 night trip!

Exactly, I think it is a good deal but, it's a lot for a b-party. I generally don't like the whole weekend away thing anyway.

Re: Do you think this is expensive?
I think it sounds pretty cheap
but most of friends are single girls who work 24/7
I do think 1 night is enough- unless your doing 2 nights b/c people are coming from out of town?
