Re: Do you limit DH or ask him not to do things?
The only thing I've asked him to stop is smoking. I'm having a really hard time with it and I know it would be way worse if he didn't quit with me.

Nope. He is going thru a HUGE change with our baby coming too. Just because I am cutting out some items doesn't mean he has to. I hope that we can continue to be understanding and loving with each other. He has been nothing short of amazing and I hope that he thinks I am doing the same.

I see no reason for him to have to miss out on things because i'm pregnant. In my opinion, it's unfair to ask them to stop doing all the things we can't.

Yes. The following scenario is presently "unacceptable" in my book:
For him to go out in the city and get so drunk that he is incapable of finding his way home, leading him to get on any random LIRR train, then passing out on the train and winding up at some random station and calling me in the middle of the night begging me to come pick him up (this has happened at least 3 times over the past 9 years).
Other than that, he does what he wants.
thats my rule for life not pregnancy lol... i need to take my shoes off to count how many times this has happened...
omg the two of you are going to heaven.
ang i think he knows better than to pull a stunt like that after the baby arrives... at least i hope... for now, he's still trying to get as much 'in' as he can, which sometimes means he acts like a frat boy.
also i want to add that now that i'm approaching the final weeks i ask him to remain local/not shizzfaced just incase it's go-time and he's out somewhere. 4
Dont feel bad! Up until like two weekends ago, we would go to a friend's house and my husband would get WASTED!!!!!!!!!!! and I'd be driving us home at 3am. The last time I was annoyed as hell and said, "no more! I'm sitting here cramping driving home and could go into labor any second and you're shiitfaced????" I was pissssed!
This wasn't every weekend, but A LOT! Men!

Re: Do you limit DH or ask him not to do things?
the only thing I ask is not to get so Drunk.
I can't be sober and deal with it, he gets obnoxious and tries to be all (what he calls) romantic with me and he'll reek of beer or something and well you know, certain smells just get to you. lol.

Re: Do you limit DH or ask him not to do things?
No way. He is adjusting to a major life change. He knows life will be different very soon, so he is enjoying his free time now. For about 7 months, I had no problem going out with him and being the DD. Now, I'd prefer to stay home. The only rule is while I will either drive him or go with him, I won't pick him up too late. I do need to insist on the no drinking rule now though, as I need him to be sober for delivery

Re: Do you limit DH or ask him not to do things?
no, i've really tried not to we've gone out many times to dinner or bars with friends and he's drank as much as he's wanted to. The only restriction might be that i want to leave earlier than normal because i'm tired
I haven't asked him to not drink around me though, that would be totally unfair. And besides, he knows that he owes me for 9 months of designated driving!
As for concerts - we've gone to several together in the beginning of the pregnancy. I stopped going to GA shows around 12 weeks though, couldn't take any chances of being bumped into. Unfortunately a whole bunch of shows came up around our due date that he/we hasn't been able to get tickets for because its just too close for comfort and i don't want him gone for the night, or we'll have had the by that time. We missed the dropkicks/bosstones show at Fenway a few weeks ago because of that too oh well!
