cough in 14 month old
DD has a loose cough..no fever, no other symptoms, not keeping her up at night. Had runny rose/cold last week.
So..before I call ped is there anything I can give her for the cough at this age? She is about 24 lbs?

same same kid.. crazy...so john has a cold with a cough ony at night.. I give him the generic benadryl..but I also have a generic cough supressent.. as long as she is 24lbs 1/2 to 1 tsb....
Pharmacist game me this info so dont flame me for giving DS these meds!

DS had a cough last week.
Ped just said to elevate his mattress and run a humidifier. Luckily, we only had 2 sleepless nights because of it and he's back to himself now.

My ped will say to give them Benedryl at night only, so that they can sleep and to dry them up. Hope she is better soon!

I am going to find out tomorrow at our well visit
She has been coughing and coughing at night-no fever, just a dry hacking cough.
I know she has a head cold since she has a runny nose, crusty nose, sneezing and sounds congested. i am guessing it's related to that
I have been running the cool mist humidifer at night
I hate how ti sounds, but she seems fine otherwise....

Same here. Fine otherwise. And not at night, only in the AM. Maybe its allergies?
