Cold... need advice
I'm from the TTC boards and I have a cold. (stuffy nose, sore throat, body aches, etc) I'm currently in my 2ww and was wondering what medicines can I take that are safe?
I was searching online and a lot of websites say regardless if your already pregnant or TTC there are medications you shouldn't take.
When you ladies get a cold, what do you take? OR do you just suck it up and let your body flight off the cold itself?

Without a bfp I took different pills and nasal spray. Right now I'm taking Benadryl at night for a drip and saline spray in the morning for congestion

I try not to take anything, but I think you can take tylenol. I usually use a neti pot and Vicks! Feel better!

This exactly.
True... but if I were in my most fertile days I'd avoid antihistamines that dry out mucous because they can ruin your cervical mucous

She's already in the 2WW though which means ovulation and fertile days have passed. If she were ovulating though I totally agree with you.

This. I had a bad cold for 2 weeks after conceiving and took everything(DayQuil,, nasal spray, Vicks, cough medicine, Advil, Claritin etc).

Until I got my BFP I was continuing as normal...medicine, diet coke, alcohol. I know some people restrict but I did not.
