Re: can we discuss coffee?

I don't know if I need it, but it's become part of my daily routine. More so in the winter bc I love drinking something warm on a cold day.
It's also my little escape. Cup of coffee with French vanilla creamer. Yum! I enjoy it once DS1 goes on the bus and DS2 is in for a nap. Ahhhh Chat Icon

NO. Don't drink it at all. I've had one cup in my entire life (in college) and hated it. Got sick the next day too, which more than likely had nothing to do with the coffee, but I never had it again.

I do drink tea, but don't need it in the morning. Sometimes at night as a wind me down (of course, decaf tea).

I dont need it to wake up since I can drink it right before bed. I love it and now its more of a daily habit.

Re: can we discuss coffee?

i have been drinking it since I went into college and now I feel like I need at least 1 cup a day. I do look forward to it though because I love the taste. I usually have one cup while getting ready for work and then most days another cup late in the afternoon

Re: can we discuss coffee?

It is very rare that I drink coffee. Usually only when I know I will be driving for a long time and I know I need the caffeine to keep me awake.

Nope. I've probably had about 5 sips of it in my entire life. I keep trying to see if I end up liking it and nope..never happens.

I hate the taste of it. lol Believe me, there have been some mornings where I wish I did like coffee so I could have a pick me up.

I could have written this. Same for me.

I just love it. I look forward to it in the morning. I look forward to it in the afternoon. It's not for the perk but I honestly love the taste of it. I would choose going for coffee over going to a bar for drinks.

Yes, I generally shower then have my cup of coffee (during the work week) on the weekend I wake up and go straight to my keurig!

I have always loved coffee and I must have it every morning. Whenever I don't crave coffee first thing in the morning I know I am either sick or pregnant! Chat Icon

Re: can we discuss coffee?

I love coffee. I will always have a cup in the morning and after dinner...not as a pick me up but just because I like it. Some days I can have up to 3.

I really started drinking it every day when I became a mom as well.
I used to take it or leave it.
Now I feel more like i NEED it.
I can skip, but I prefer not to.
It's more of a habit than an addiction though.
Like part of my routine.

Exactly how I feel!

Addicted

Cloudy and fuzzy until I've had a cup or two

I drink it during the day as well

If I don't have coffee, I get a migraine - like headache by 1 pm

Oh man! This is exactly me!

Re: can we discuss coffee?

I drink coffee a few times a week. I don't drink it every day because I don't want to become addicted.

Re: can we discuss coffee?

I need it in the am like I need air to breathe.

I set my Keurig up the night before so it's all ready to go with mug underneath, pod packed. I have one or two cups at home.

I also stop to get another cup on my way to work.

That's it though because if I drink it past a certain time in the afternoon, I start to feel sick and I also have trouble sleeping.

If for whatever reason I forgot my coffee in the morning, I feel the affects of not having it pretty quickly. Im sluggish, cranky and ready to nap before my child is.

And recently I've had to start adding a mid afternoon or evening cup to even make it to DS' bedtime.

Most of my status updates on FB consist of the word coffee. I'm that person. Lol
