Do they at least sell the chocolate covered pretzels? I can at least justify paying a premium for those. But for popcorn? Nah.
Not sure about others but they don't have them on my grandsons links.
They do have a bag of chocolate peanut clusters though.
As for them being outside stores. I just tell them no thank you. Same with Girl Scouts. Unless I'm really craving a cookie..
Funny because I just tried to do a search for the pretzels to see if they still had them, and this thread came up from a forum. It was from 2010 but I figured i would check anyways since the first post seemed amusing enough. Glad I did.
Are you high?

Re: Boy Scout sales rant!
I just checked the vendor's website, and they have a lot less options than when I was selling it a few years ago...
https://store.trails-end.com/?ou=c7c26116-f21c-11e5-a5eb-0632e198f0a5
This link is for what Suffolk County Council has available. Troops and Packs in the council have the same options (I checked under DS's name as well). This isn't a link to get anyone to buy anything, just so you can see what's available.
There used to be many more flavors of popcorn, and there were more chocolate-based items.

So I'm confused. One large bag of popcorn is $30 but a 24 pack of microwave popcorn is only $22.50?

No, they are $30 also. $22.50 of that goes to the local scouting. The same for everything else.

Oh ok now I see. But still- it seems odd to pay the same price for 24 bags of microwave popcorn as you pay for ONE bag of the other kind
