Not sure how I feel about charging for a search and rescue.

However, It reminds me of last month when those hikers got stranded with their dog. They knew how bad the weather was and they still went on with the hike. They had to call in a search party for them and they were all found alive.

Does anyone think the hikers should be charged for the money that was spent rescuring them?

Or what about mountain climbers? When they fall and get hurt and need rescuring, should they be charged?

These are adults who are well aware of the dangers going out there, for their "sport". And I have yet to hear any of them being charged.

I'm just curious to see what people think.
