Re: Basal Body Temp
i started temping this month and i am glad i did. it not only confirmed that i did ovulate this cycle but based on my thermal shift it showed that i o'd a day later than i thought (based on using an opk). easy enough to do and i find it helpful
edit: i also wanted to share that i did not purchase a special thermometer...i have a digital one that i am using that works fine. I decided to start temping on a whim so i didnt have a chance to get to the store. i believe the basal thermo may give you an additional .01 of a degree and it reads your temp quicker...but when i am laying in bed after the alarm goes off, 10 seconds or 1 minute doesnt matter much to me.

ITA!
It's a hard habit to get into. I have an alarm set every morning and if its a weekend and DH is still sleeping, he can't stand the beeping my thermometer makes.
I've been tempting/charting since I got married and I really think it's been a great experience to understand how my body works;.
