Since Giving Birth - YOUR body temp??

are you MUCH hotter or MUCH colder than you used to be all the time??

dave & i used to be the same body temp wise...if i was cold, so was he, vice versa...but since having em - he'll be FREEZING and i'm sweating...

i just went out to the pharmacy and sitting in the AC in the store, i was DIEING of heat....the AC was on just fine, but WOW....i'm SOOOOO much hotter than i used to be....(and no, i haven't gained any weight...i'm the same weight i was before getting pregnant).

i know they say pregnancy/birth changes your body - but this is EXTREME... I feel the need to take another shower now - i was sweating so badly in the store (and the SECOND she goes down for a nap - i am).

i am much hotter.

I used to always freeze. I was cold no matter what.

Now i have night sweats all the time and i'm hardly ever cold anymore.

Same here! I will wake up at night absolutely roasting and I check the temp in the house thinking the AC broke and it is on a fine. Definitely a new thing since having DS.

I sweat constantly. In the mornings (even with AC on) after I shower I put on shorts and a tank top before I put my work clothes on...when I take them off they are actually damp...it's really bad. No amount of AC seems to cool me off anymore. I don't even wear a jacket when its chilly anymore!

I am soooo hot! I can't be outside for few minutes without sweating to death. DH keeps asking me if I am okay, because I get red so fast. I hate it.

i used to always be cold never sweat

its almost a year since i had ds and all i do is sweat and all i want is ac.

then again i am preggo with #2 so it could be the pregnancy

Thanks for posting this. I am so much hotter now than I ever used to be. Some nights I throw off the covers bc i'm so hot and DH just looks at me like I'm crazy. The CAC is set at the same temp all the time. I'll be sweating and everyone else is fine. I'm the same Pre-prg weight now too.

I went to the endocrinologist bc I swore something was wrong but everything came back fine Guess it's normal.

I am warmer also and my old deodorant no longer works at all so I've been trying new ones to find one I like...

I'm so much hotter now too! I thought it was just me. I swore the other day that the mall didnt have on the ac bc I was so hot! Good to know I guess its normal.

I was just telling someone the other day, I am much warmer since giving birth. I'm a different person- I used to always be cold. I'm 7mos pp.

DEFINITELY warmer. I used to be frigid all the time. I noticed this right after having Riley...I used to have to sleep with socks on...then all of a sudden I was too hot! And now during Winter, I'm fine without buttoning my coat. That is just not like me at all!

During the day i'm WAY colder, and I normally wear sweatpants, a sweatshirt and socks while the a/c is on 72. Joe is roasting and Emmy is ok in a onsie. Every other summer the a/c was never above 68. HOWEVER at night the a/c goes to 66 and I wake up sweating like CRAZY and i'm roasting until I have been up for an hour. It's the weirdest thing.

thank you all so much!!!! i feel normal (or as close to normal as i can...tee hee).

i do want to mention it to my doc - see if there's some 'weird' reason it happens or something...but seriously - i'm about to go out and i'm DREADING the walk from the car to the ac because i know i'm going to be soaked from sweat!

I am so much hotter since having my boys. It's so embarrassing b/c I sweat so much.

I have felt like I run about 10 degrees hotter than before I had DD. I used to get cold so easily and now it can't be cold enough for me.
