Re: August Mommies

Morning!! Im doing ok. The baby's movements are starting to feel different, its not the short jabs any more, i can actually feel his bones through my skin. BH are in full swing and im feeling large. Other than that, im doing good. Went to the beach and the pool this past weekend, and it wasnt too hot. I really feel like he is going to come early, so every week we get through i am relieved. 30wk appt is tomorrow. Good luck with the glucose results....

I am 28 weeks today and have a doctors appointment next week. I did find out last week that I passed my glucose test. Baby is very active and sleeping just started to get a little uncomfortable.

Girls, it's going to be a hot week so drink alot of fluids.

I'm doing well also...really starting to feel the baby move consistently now. I have to go for my glucose test this weekend, so I'm a little nervous about that....With the heat this past weekend, I'm thinking I need to make friends with someone who has a pool!!

I am 27 and half weeks and feel HUGE. I keep putting off the GD test since I hate doing it, but have a follow up on Monday so I have to do it by then. I am getting more tired as the days go by even though I am still sleeping all night and not having insomnia. This heat is really getting to me too, DH needs to get working on installing the ACs!

I had an appt on Friday. Everything is well, but the baby is breech. I go for my glucose next friday and I am very nervous for it. I failed the one hour and for my three hour one of my #'s was elevated last pg. I am starting to get very tired again!

Good Morning Ladies! How are we all feeling??? I have reached the 31 week mark. Still feeling good..but starting to get a little tired again. Tonight is our first Lamaze class--it is 3 hours long!! UGH! I am starting to go the Dr every 2 weeks starting next week, up until 36 weeks then every week. I am planning on meeting with the pediatrician that was recommended to me next week as well. I feel that there is still so much to do!!!! I had my shower this past weekend, and it is amazing the generosity of all of my friends and family!! I can't wait for the baby now!!! August here we come! I looked at my counter and I have only 64 days left!!!

I'm in my 31st week right now, and feeling alright. My pelvic area tends to get a little achy at times, and I notice if I walk too much, or spend too much time on my feet I feel pain as well. My ankles/legs are STILL swollen, can hardly fit into some of my shoes. It's getting uncomfortable to sleep in the bed with DH, have heartburn alot, and feel her moving/rolling/kicking all the time now. I also have pressure "down there" and am using the bathroom quite frequently!! I start going to the doctor every 2 weeks. Other than ALL OF THAT...I'm good. Chat Icon

On the upside..I got the ok to go to Florida for a mini-vacation and to see my in-laws. We go in 16 days..and I cannot wait!!!

Re: August Mommies

Quest screwed up my labwork (glucose) from last thursday so I have to go AGAIN tomorrowChat Icon I was anxious enough about this time around since I failed with my 1st pg... Other than that, I just feel tired and definitely moody! I lose my patience very easily at this point. I wish my dh would go to look at furniture soon with me for my son's "big boy bed" and that the bassinett I ordered from jcpenney would come!!!

I will be 32 weeks pg tomorrow. I went to my prenatal aqua aerobics class this evening and it makes me feel so much better. I hope that everyone is feeling good. I cannot believe that I have less than 60 days until my EDD.

I had this a few weeks ago, and the only thing they suggested to me was tylenol....I asked about a chiropractor, but they said only in an emergency should I go, and I would need a note from the dr office. I hope it gets better soon!! I took the tylenol every 6 hours until the pain went away.Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am having sciatic pains and my dr recommended tylonol as well. She said if it doesn't help to call because she can prescribe something and has lots of patients with that. Said it will get worse as we get bigger. So far I have been dealing with it....

Good Morning Girls! How is everyone feeling?? It is getting close!! I only have 8 weeks to go...and starting to freak out a little...I feel that there is so much to be done still. Tonight is our last night of lamaze class and our cooky teacherChat Icon and then I need to make a list of stuff to pack, go to BRU to make returns, and go through the baby clothes to see what to keep...I feel that I have too much newborn stuff and not enough bigger things...what if this is an 8 pound baby! Also, do any of you know when they start to estimate the baby's weight? I am going to Dr today for a regular checkup...I will ask then, but I was curious! How are all of you doing??

I just started my 30th week today. Feeling o.k. Just very uncomfortable at night.
Speaking about newborn clothing, when DS was born last year he was almost 10lbs and luckily I had alot of 3-6mos clothing. DS never wore 0-3 months.

Hi there everyone!! We are coming into the home stretch!! I can't believe I only have 6 weeks to go! I had my normal check up today, and all is going well still...however, I am slightly anemic so now I have to take some iron suplements, but hopefully that is the end of my worries. I am going every two weeks right now, but I have a feeling that after the next appt I will be weekly. I am getting so anxious to meet my little boy or little girl! I am now dying to find out, but I have held out this long...it is only a few weeks more!
How are all of you???

Re: August Mommies

I'm doing good - if my calculations are correct I have 52 days to go...give or take. How the heck did the time go so fast! I don't know if I'm quite ready - but I am getting uncomfortable. As soon as I stand up I feel like I need to pee...guess I gotta get going on those kegal exercises!

So what are you girls bringing your babies home in????I have to get on this. I had a winter baby last time and felt it was so much easier to figure out what they should wear.
