at what time do you give your infant
their last bottle, and then when do you put them to sleep?
when do you think you should stop giving a bottle before bed?

When DD was younger (she's now 7 months), we would wake her up before we went to bed (say around 11pm) and "top her off" even if she wasn't due for a feeding. We found that it gave us more time to sleep before her next feeding.

DS is 7 months and gets a bottle at 7:45 PM. He is in bed by 8:15. That's a good question, I never thought of the right age to wean them off of the bedtime bottle.

DS is 7.5 mos. He gets his bath at 7PM, bottle at 7:30 and will either fall asleep at the bottle or within 10 minutes of finishing it.
I can't really wean him off or give it to him sooner bc that's what time I get home after work and pick him up.

DD is 6 months and gets a bottle about a half hour before bed. I never thought about fading it out! I would worry that she'd wake up.

Kaydyn is 10 mos and most nights she gets a bottle right before bed. She drinks a bottle and then we put her to bed. Most times she is still awake when we put her in her crib.

ds is 12 wks, he gets a bottle when he is hungry just happens to be between 7-8 PM. then he goes to sleep about a half hour after that. I just started ( 2nights ago) waking him around 10-1030 to have another bottle. before I woudl go to sleep and he would wake a half hour later to eat. now I wake him

DD is 4 months...
She gets a bottle at approx 8 - 8:30, gets a bath, then bed.
I give her a dream feed at 11 pm...she DOES expect it. I asked the doctor if I should start phasing it out and he said no rush...so I'll continue it for the next couple of months until she has more and more solids in her diet.

DS is 3 months, he BFs at about 5:30, 6pm and then gets a bottle right before bed at 7:30.

DS is 5 months.
he gets a bottle and cereal/fruit at 6:30, bath at 7, book/snuggle time at 7:30, bottle at 8 and then he usually falls right asleep.

I'll wean her off her last and only bottle by a year.

DD is 7 months and gets a bottle at 8PM and usually falls asleep right after... regardless I personally have found it best to hold her upright for about 15 minutes before laying her down so as to avoid spitting/throwing up... if she's asleep she'll turn over and go back to sleep when I put her down... if she's still awake, she'll get herself comfy and within 5 minutes she's out. We've been doing this routine since she's 2 months and started sleeping through the night. Prior to the 2 month mark, she'd usually wake for an 11PM feeding... then again around 4am - gosh I don't miss that, but will be doing it again in just a few months... lucky me! I have no reason to wean her as I see it at this point... I personally enjoy a cup of milk before bed at 35 years old. I'm sure during potty-training I may rethink giving her any beverage before bed -

ds is 6mths tomorrow and we give me a bottle at 9pm and it gone within 15mins.. he's up by 7:30am the next morning. i'll wean him off closer to the 1 yr. old mark.

I go by her needs. She has started sleeping through the night so she has her last bottle around 7ish depending on her schedule for the day

DS gets his last bottle at 8 and goes to bed at 9.
He is almost 1 year old. I really dont plan on weaning him off that bottle for awhile but we will see once he goes on milk whether he still needs/wants it!

Emerson has her last bottle between 10-11pm and then she sleeps straight through the night until 8:30-9:00. She is 12 weeks old on Friday but has been consistently sleeping through the night on this schedule since she was 8 weeks old. So far, so good......I am thrilled!!
