Just bc police were called doesn't mean they HAD to be called. The resort could have been covering their asses and making it more than it was to take the heat off them. And they lost the bug then it wasn't a bedbug after all? I call BS! After they told her they would treat her stuff? I only know of her from the LIF and other boards and she seems totally normal and grounded. Not one for drama etc. ETA- read her post someone posted above and the story is all there. Not irrational at all.
And I don't care what the situation is, a customer finds a bed bug you bed over backwards to rectify it, refund and make them happy because you know damn well this can ruin your rep.
 my comment about having the cops escort had nothing to do with me thinking something more had to happen it was to make it a point that GWL was being ridiculous and not having great customer service!
Also GWL in PA is 100% known to have bed bugs in their place at more than one occasion. I went in January figuring the problem was resolved. Clearly it hasn't been.

wow crazy. just wondering why she didnt post the picture of the bug.
someone else posted that they were kicked out that day too....
Great wolf lodge pretty much kicked us out today..2 young children ..made us drive from the poconos to Long Island in a pretty bad snow storm...plus my original room had a flood and both rooms had no water pressure..and I just read about the bed bug incident this other person had!!..please share this with everyone!..?#?greatwolflodge?

Someone works for Great Wolf....same someone has a House Party account with the same user name, with their location less than an hour from GWL, Pa.
While yes, its out of the hands of the hotel IF they get bedbugs BUT it is in NO WAY out of their hands how they treat their guests affected by it. The onus should NEVER be on the guest, EVER. The hotel should then not LIE about said guest or to those who call to save face. Also, if it is a continuous problem, as it has been for years here, it should be fumigated at this point.

Hmmm.....very funny in the FB post the risk manager from GWL that was rude, nasty and threw them out was named.....KRISTIN!! How coincidental!
at least change your screen name  Yes GWL certainly seems like the innocent party now, stalking her FB posts (this lifamilies post was shared in the comments of her post) and then coming here to bad mouth her. Lost my business for good!

Its funny bc its true. Why else would you go out of your way to post here? There is NO WAY there is a House Party User with the same Screen Name who then happens to live less than an hour from said GWL and then coincidentally posts on this board.

Yeah bed bugs happen...crappy CS when customers find a bedbug shouldn't happen.
When someone has a bad experience in a restaurant, the restaurant kisses their ass, comps their meal and even gives them coupons to come back. They don't tell them to gtf out b/c they posted about their experience on their FB page, take back the remedy to the situation and call the cops to escort them out.
