any toddlers have issues with flip flops?
I can't tell if DS's foot is more like mine or DHs. But I have a weird one  I can't wear flip flops they hurt the ball of my foot, not sure if its because of high arch or what.
Just not sure if I should get DS carter's flip flops, they are so cute and match what he has already.
eta: He has fisherman sandals, supple soft leather..
I put them on without socks and he freaked on me, cried and tried to pull them off
he made me nervous, but he needs sandals for water play he can wear without socks and not sure what to get

Real flip flops are a nightmare.. she falls and hurts her feet, slips out and hurts her ankle, then falls.
Ugh
ones with stretchy thingies to hold the back, she loves but she'll stub her toes, trip, etc.
She does love them.
Mama hates them
ETA: I also hate that they slide and don't grip. Even in my house (which is lamant flooring) ugh no thanks.. too much worry and stress.

I can't even get regular sandals on my 2 year old. She screams her head off. SNEAKERS only for her. Makes for some interesting outfits.

I wouldn't do flip flops on a toddler. I work in a preschool and kids come in in flip flops in the summer all the time, and they are constantly tripping, stubbing their toes, sliding, it's awful. I definitely would not recommend them, especially on such a young toddler, as they definitely interfere with proper walking.

For the water, DS has these water shoes, and another similar pair with a velro flap on them. I got them at Target.
I wont buy my DS flip flops.
I can't find the exact ones on the Target website, and when I post the picture, it's huge.

Ds loves them. We have the ones with the elastic on the back. For water I got him water shoes at payless.

I just got DS Teva's to wear only when he is going to get wet. He hasn't had any problems so far but it is kinda hard to get it in between his toes.

flip flops are bad for your feet - for anyone's feet. It pains me to say it, I've always been a big flip-flop fan, but the fact is they just are bad for your feet. I recently developed plantar fasciitis, and I'm not allowed to wear them anymore :(
