people who rent or rent apt need some assist
most rentals are illegal, especially those who rent multi apt within one home and the home owner living elsewhere.
question:what happens if someone signs a lease for one yr. But after 6 months the person renting needs to break the lease, what happens?
what happens for a month to month?

if the rental itself is illegal, then any lease for the apartment is void, because you can't have a valid contract for something illegal (it's void as against public policy). so, technically, there's no lease to break.
