Can I deposit checks made out to a newborn if she doesn't have an account?
Dd is 2 weeks old and has received checks but:
A.i haven't really been able to go to the bank
B. She doesn't have her ss# our birth certificate yet
Can I deposit them into my account though?

We still deposit Dds checks into our accounts. We haven't figured out what we want to do as far as accounts for them.

DS is not a baby anymore and I haven't opened an account for him yet. 
When people give him money for his bday or whatever, I've been depositing it into my Capital One 360 so it's harder to touch.
We use this money though to splurge on things like family vacation.
This year we are taking him to Disney.
