Simple, accurate forehead thermometer
So after a week of hell with 3 sick children (one had an ear infection, one had strep, and one had just a virus) and being to the doctor 4 times last week and once this week, we need to get my MIL a thermometer. She watches my kids while we work. We never realized until now that she didn't have one.
It needs to be super simple, accurate (as much as possible), and for the forehead (there's no way she could wrestle my kids for an ear reading like I do). Any recommendations?

Simple, accurate forehead thermometer
The exergen temporal thermometer is rated the best on the market. I have it and I find it gives consistent readings. The readings are often a little lower than the rectal temperature but not by much. I do not know how it compares to the ear thermometer.

We use the Exergen Temporal Thermometer, too. Costco has it for a good price.

Simple, accurate forehead thermometer
How long do you have to put it on the forehead for?
We have a braun forehead one and you're supposed to put it on the forehead and then swipe it for a second or two.
Most of the time, as soon as we put it on DD's head, she moves so we're touching air instead of forehead!
