Recommend an accurate thermometer
I've gone through 3 or 4 digital thermometers and they all suck. I thought we found a decent one, but today it gave me readings of 98 when DS felt very warm and actually had a temperature of over 101. Does anyone have an accurate, reliable thermometer?
At what age is it accurate to start taking DC's temperature by ear? Does anyone have any recommendations for those?

I just bought the Exergen Temporal thermometer, and have had good luck so far. We tested it on me and DH and compared to other thermometers, and it's been accurate to within .2.

We have this one also and it seems accurate. Peyton had a 105 degree fever last year and my Dr had us take her temp rectally too and it was the same as the temporal one.
