Please recommend your forehead thermometer
Sorry - not sure what its called - temporal? Its getting more and more difficult to take DD's temperature the traditional way.
I know rectally is supposed to be the most accurate, but is it true that the newer temporal ones are accurate?

We have the exergen temporal, and I am pleased w/ it. It isn't AS accurate, but when we tested it on ourselves compared to a regular mouth thermometer, it was accurate to within .2 degrees.

I second this.
I had gotten another brand first.. OMG I hated it!!! Saftey first I think.. or Vicks.. can't remember but it was horrible.
I love the exergen with the exception that the temp isnt illuminated (or at least mine isn't) and its annoying at night time to read it. I usually cup my hand and use the red light it has to cast a bit of light to read it with.
