More stomach virus questions if your DC had a BAD one
Ds started Monday night it was violent and fierce
He still has diarrhea and will vomit occasionally
He'll drink some but won't really eat just tiny bits here and there
1. How long did it last?
2. Did your dr give you anything to calm their tummy down

My 3 year old nephew had it for 6 days.
My dd had it for 12 hours.
Think there is more than 1 type of stomach virus going around

How old is he? Is he on Formula? If he is--my ped said to switch to soy for 7 days and give an ounce of pedialyte every once in awhile to make sure she didnt get dehydrated.

All 3 of mine had it this week. My youngest is having the toughest time with it. Today was day 4 and I thought we were done and gave him milk. Big mistake. HUGE! can't wait for this damn bug to get out of my house. I am paranoid DH and I will get it. Sorry no advice but I feel your pain.

More stomach virus questions if your DC had a BAD one
We are at the week mark and my daughter is finally back to normal. I would say for us 5-6 days of symptoms. I got it from her, my symptoms started early Wednesday morning and I still am weak, and the stomach issues stopped today. Good luck!
Eta : We went to the doctor on Tuesday and the doctor didn't put dd on anything. Dd only really started eating good yesterday, but she was drinking really great all week. The doctor said that was most important and not to worry about the eating for now as long as she was drinking.

My DS threw up on and off for 12 hours, but his stomach wasn't right for quite some time. He actually threw up once a full week later. And he had to sit out of a soccer practice because he felt too nauseous.
