Re: Would this bother you?
Middle, NO. Many families have the same middle name. No no no. Not a big deal.

Re: Would this bother you?
I'm usually touchy with stuff like this but honestly NO, this absolutely would not bother me. As a matter of fact, we named our DS's the same exact two middles names as my sister in law's two boys! The other SIL used a close variant for her DS's middle name. It never even occurred to me that anyone would care. They are very dear family names. I think it would have raised more eyebrows if we hadn't used those names (seen as snubbing those family members).

Re: Would this bother you?
No. In fact DD and her cousin share the same middle name. The middle name is after their grandmother. I like the fact that the girl cousins share it.

Would this bother you?
Not even in the slightest. In fact, both of my brothers have a son with the same middle name as my oldest son.

Re: Would this bother you?
I know two brothers and both of their first born boys have the same name. One was a junior. The other boy was named after his mothers brother who died. It's a little odd, but they have seperate meanings.

Wouldn't bother me. But very little does.
I haven't taken out a copyright or trademark on DD's name like Beyonce wanted to, so I have to expect others will use it.

No. I'm not quite sure why this would be bothersome, to be honest.

Re: Would this bother you?
Nope, but I come from a large italian family where just about all of my cousins , plus my sister and I , share a first or middle name with at least one cousin. In fact, thinking about it, out of 20 of us only one (the youngest) has a completely original name.
My mom had 6 first cousins with her name so this is a pattern haha

Re: Would this bother you?
Not at all. If any myself, my brother, or cousins have a boy we all want to use our grandpas first name as a middle name.
My brother and my first cousin have the same middle name it was never an issue.
Eta: my mom has a lot of first cousins who share the same 1st name. There are 4 Thomas, 4 Christophers that is a bit confusing

Not at all. Not even a tiny bit. I'm surprised this would bother anyone to be honest.
This was my thought too.

Re: Would this bother you?
Wouldn't bother me. In my family, middle names are typically named after a grandparent. So it's highly likely that the name would be used more than once.
If it's a completely unique name, it might seem odd, but for a middle name that hardly gets used...not a big deal.

Would this bother you?
One question...
Do you like your brother in law or do you have issues with him?
I find that silly things can get to me if I don't like the person.

This is the exact reason why it would bother me.

Nope, not at all. My sister and I may actually have this situation someday. The babies' middle names will be for our grandfather.
