I have been exclusively pumping for the past 6 weeks. DS was in NICU. He is home now.
I started to wean about two weeks ago. As per the LC I went from every 2/3 hours to every 4 hours. Did that a few days. Then every 5 hours for a few days and didn't walk in the overnight to pump. Then three times a day and I currently doing once in the morning and once in the evening. This is day three of that.
I am in pain. The LC said that could happen. But I am scared bc in the beginning I had mastitis and was on an antibiotic.
Is it normal to have pain when weaning ?
