weaning from the pump
I have dropped session gradually over the course of two months. I am now down to one session a day and get by feeling good with about 7 minutes on my pump. Yesterday I did not pump at all but today I am feeling it. It's getting a tad 'lumpy' and sore.
Do I just stick it out from here on out?

Re: weaning from the pump
are you trying to stop nursing all together or are you just stopping pumping inbetween nursing sessions?

Re: weaning from the pump
if you are trying to stop all together then i would suggest cold cabbage leaves for the pain... when i stopped eping with ds i walked around like coleslaw for a few days...
also once i was down to one pump a day i switched to hand expression of just enough milk to to make me comfortable... so instead of pumping once a day i would just hand suppress 3 or 4 times a day just enough to relieve the pressure
