Question about telling work
I have a question about telling work. I started a new job about a month ago and I am now 23 weeks pregnant. I just started showing recently and was planning on telling work after about a month of working. I wanted to prove myself to them. I also interviewed when I was only about 12 weeks pregnant and had some issues because it was a high risk pregnancy. This was the reason I waited a while to tell people- wanted to make sure everything was okay with the pregnancy. I was planning on telling them tomorrow and I plan on just being honest but I just don't want them to think I lied to them. I just wanted to make sure things were okay with the pregnancy, etc. and also wanted to show that I'm a good worker. I'm a little nervous telling them. Anyone in a similar situation that can give me advice, courage, etc? Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about telling work
I don't think you owe them any explanation as to why you're only just telling them. If you haven't already, I would recommend getting your maternity leave info from hr so you can tell your boss the news and also present your plans with regards to how you plan to handle maternity leave.
