telling work question

a bunch of people that i work with are retiring this month (thanks nassau county )

there is one woman that i adore who is leaving and i am so sad!

i am only 8 weeks, but we saw the HB already and told some friends, everything seems to be going well so far.

would you tell her before she leaves this week?

i only ask b/c she has a big mouth and there is a good chance that if i tell her everyone else in the office will find out

I would wait, especially if you say she has a big mouth! She'll probably give you contact information before she leaves, I would tell her when you tell your office.
