Where to Register - BBB or BRU?
Did you register at BBB or BRU? What made you choose one over the other? (Both are convenient for us so that is a non-issue)
TIA!

Where to Register - BBB or BRU?
When the time comes I think I am going to do Pottery Barn Kids and Buy Buy Baby. PB for bedding, bath items and decor because thats more my style. BBB for everyday things and to give people cheaper options since you can use the 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond Coupons.

Re: Where to Register - BBB or BRU?
i registered at both bc babies r us was more convenient for me and bbb had better customer service
if you only want to choose one, i would pick bbb bc of the customer service and coupon availability
babies r us online prices and in store prices are different - some items (like dd crib mattress) was a $22 difference online vs in store. they honored the online price but then they wouldnt accept any coupons if they do the price match i found them more difficult to work with but if you create a registry byl jan 31st they are offering 20% back in the form of a gift card of your registry purchases so that may be a nice perk babies r us link

I say combine Amazon with Babies R Us! Amazon registries are just sooooooooo much more convenient that I don't understand why more ppl don't do it...
And for the guests who like to visit stores Babies R Us has more locations than BBB.

We did both BBB and BRU as well as Amazon. It gave a really great selection for people and this way they could go to whichever place was most convenient for them.

Same for the same reasons.
I liked BRU's selection over BBB as well.

Re: Where to Register - BBB or BRU?
We registered at both. BRU was better for our OOT family who didn't have a BBB close by, but BBB had some preferred items in the store where BRU only had it online. Most of my family prefers to shop in stores so we opted for both.

Where to Register - BBB or BRU?
I did Babies R Us because I have a lot of family out of state (and in Staten Island and Jersey) and I know there are Babies r Us locations near them.
I also did Target for lower priced items, and I have the Redcard so I can buy anything that is leftover with 5% discount.

Where to Register - BBB or BRU?
I registered at BBB and on Amazon. The BBB closest to me has amazing Customer service and the store is kept very clean and well stocked. I cannot say the same for the Babies r us in my area. Personally, I have had too many negative experiences with Toys r us/Babies r us to even consider registering with their brand.

We did BRU only bc when I shopped for other people I preferred shopping at BRU. I felt like things were difficult to find in BBB off a registry. And BRU usually has free shipping- I have always paid for shipping from BBB. That was my personal preference though- I was just looking to make it easier on my friends and family. I didnt even think of Target though- they have a decent selection there and everyone lives near a Target.

Thanks everyone!
I am definitely not doing Target. We registered there for our wedding and returning items was a hassle!

I did both BBB and BRU. I liked BBB better, but BRU has more locations and so convenient for more people. I know a lot of my older family members are not online shoppers.

Re: Where to Register - BBB or BRU?
Started with just Pottery Barn & BBB -- chose BBB b/c the prices were better, have coupons, and just loved their options/organizations a lot more. Every BRU I had been to was part of a TRU (I"m in Brooklyn BTW) and was an utter mess.
However, after putting together the guestlist for the shower, I realized a majority of the guests were from Bklyn/Staten Island and Queens -- with no BBB near them and they weren't tech savy.
So, I split my BBB registry and added BRU items -- even if they were slightly higher. BRU accepts BBB coupons, so I figured hey -- why not!
So, I'm now listed at PB (bedding and a few other things like nursery decor and towels/robes), BRU (ended up getting my nursery furniture here), and BBB.

Re: Where to Register - BBB or BRU?
I like BBB so much better! I like the layout of the store-organized better and I feel they have more things there. I just like it overall much better than BRU. plus, they are better with returns (they take everything- no problem if you dont have a receipt. They take expired coupons, etc)
I only registered there for my first.

This...plus customer service is so much better. I went to BRU to ask about the registry and getting info from the lady was like pulling teeth. At BBB, they sat me down, gave me water, explained everything in detail and offered an appt for someone to walk the store with me (I didn't need that, but thought it was a nice idea).

Re: Where to Register - BBB or BRU?
BBB has a much, much better selection and better products IMO.
Bru customer service sucks. The other day I went in there to return something that I had bought and was linked to my rewards. Well there was a glitch in the computer system (even the customer service mgr said it was antiquated) and they wouldn't give me my money back. I sat there and went through dozens of email receipts and found it and it was linked to my reward number.
