If you can live anywhere on Long Island...
We own a co-op in Rockville Centre and love the town! I'd love to own a house here one day.
I also really like Garden City and Manhasset.

I'm in West Islip now and am so happy.
The community is very family oriented and friendly, great access to ocean beaches and near restaurants and shops (those are actually in Babylon but that's only 5 minutes away).

We discuss this often. We love the area where we are now, so we'd look to upgrade eventually to somewhere in Oyster Bay Cove, Muttontown/Brookville or Laurel Hollow.
But, I've had my eye on old Victorian's lately and love this one area of Sea Cliff that we'd move to in a heart beat - that is, if the houses we love ever went on the market and if we could ever afford it!

Laurel Hollow is so pretty! I gave the answer CSH above but if I had to pick a more affordable area it would be Sayville.

Babylon Village. I just love this area. I lived there for 4 years before DH, but location wise for my job and DH's it just doesn't work.

i like where i am because i am close to family but i think it would be nice to live in garden city, the houses are beautiful and i would have a 5 min commute to work.

Id move back to Sayville in a heart beat. I never realized how great that town was until we moved after HS. Sayville or Babylon because I do love this area now.
