So I am in my brother's wedding in Sept. My FSIL chose the BM dresses and they are fitted. One of the bm's who is a size 8 had to order an 18, these dresses run really small. I am a 12-14 who is actively working out trying to slim down just for myself. My dilema. We are actively ttc. If we are not pg in the next 2 months we are doing an iui. Doesnt guarantee that I will be pg by Sept but if all goes well I will be. I have to order by Mar 30th. I am going to wait till the last week of Mar to order to see if I am pg or not. If Im not though would you still order the biggest size availlable as a just in case or should I order the size I am in Mar?
Opinions please

Re: wwyd
I would ask them how many sizes can it be altered up or down with still looking okay. If they said 2 sizes for example either way, I would order 2 sizes up from what you are in March. That way, if it needs to be let out by the time the wedding comes, it will be 4 sizes larger than you are in March which hopefully will be enough and if you arent pg, they can take it in 2 sizes.

Re: wwyd
I've always heard that its much easier and cheaper to take a dress in than it is to let it out. So I would definitely get it bigger.

Re: wwyd
I ordered a dress this past summer much bigger (2 or 3 sizes) then I was supposed to for a wedding that is coming up next month It was kinda depressing that I didnt need it, but I don't regret it. They would have been able to take it in (not easy , but doable), but I guess you could say that I was lucky because another bridesmaid who is very very pregnant did not order big enough so we were able to switch and I ended up with a dress that fits perfect and she ended up with a dress she can breath in.
