My irrational fear!
I love watching "I didnt know I was pregnant" but now that we are TTC, I have this fear that I will be one of those women!!
As I've mentioned in other posts, I have a very long, very irregular cycle and I don't know when I O. Last time AF showed up, it was very light and spotty for about 5 days. I tested right before AF showed last and it was BFN right away. Along with my phantom symptoms, I occasionally feel a flutter in my abdomen and every time I feel it, I think, how weird would it be if there was a baby in there and I have no idea! I know that there isn't but after watching that show, I have this irrational fear that they'll end up making an episode about me!

Re: My irrational fear!
Trust me..............you WILL know when you're pregnant. Having gone though 9 months of pregnancy myself I cannot even fathom how anyone would NOT know they are pregnant. EVERYTHING changes, everything. I felt like a different person when I was pregnant. Aside from that, I cannot imagine what anyone would mistake the baby moving and kicking and punching for. I think more often than not those women are in denial. They don't want to believe they are pregnant so they ignore every symptom. I just cannot see how anyone wouldn't know they are pregnant. For me, at 5DPO I knew something was up, everything felt weird and different. So I wouldn't worry, even with very irregular cycles (which I too have) you will know when you're pregnant.

Re: My irrational fear!
I swear, I thought all those women were retarded and I still keep watching it and yelling at the TV. I can't imagine any woman who is slightly intune with her body will have no clue that there's a baby inside her, atleast after the first 4 months.
I'm just glad the stories they feature have happy endings.
eta: l have to agree with Hofstra's point about many of these women being in denial.

Same here! The flutters were so bad a few months ago that you could actually feel them if you put your hand on my belly.
