**Saturday 10 23 QOTD**
Hi ladies!
First I want to say thank you for playing along as I was FMOTW. It was a lot of fun putting up a different topic and getting to know a little but about one another. Recently I've been thinking about the people in my life and who I want to be around my LO as he/she grows up. So I thought a good topic would be....
The thing I value most in a friend is ___________
Something I will not put up with from a friend is____________
For me, the thing I value most in a friend is sincerity. I only need a small handful of people in my life if they are honest and real.
Something I will not put up with from a friend (and has been a dealbreaker to me in the past) is just the opposite and that is dishonesty.. When I think about that word, I realize it encompasses a lot of things other than lying. It's also any act that would knowingly hurt me or their loved ones. To me, a good friend/person doesn't try to gain at someone else's expense.
What are the traits/dealbreakers for you?
Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!

Re: **Saturday 10 23 QOTD**
The thing I most value in a friend is them always being there for me and supporting me. I have a small amount of close friends who I can turn to and know that they will always be there for me and not judge. They are honest and we have a great time together. I could ask for better friends.
A deal breaker for me is trying to control what I do and who I am friends with. I have had friends in the past who didn't let me do what I wanted or like that I made new friends. They didn't even like my old friends. If I introduced them they would be real snotty. It was really annoying and I dropped them real fast. Also dishonesty is a deal breaker also.

The thing I value most is sincerity and loyalty. I want my friends to be with me till the end. I thing I will not put up with is flakiness. I know everyone is busy with their own lives (husbands, children, jobs, homes), but I can't stand how some people are never available to you, not physically, but emotionally as well. Some of my best friends are not local, but we take car to email or talk regularly. Friendship, like a relationship, needs to be nurtured. You can't constantly take for granted your friends, just like you can't take your spouse for granted.

ITA!! Relationships need to be worked on!! It doesn't just happen naturally all the time and you have to work at it!!
